It has a seating capacity of 150 clientele and provides information in a serene setting. It has a growing collection 8000 volumes 2245 titles. DDC Classification Scheme is used to organize subjects. Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules are used for creating book database in GRANDHASOFT Software. Automatic circulation system is used in the library. A good collection of CD-ROMs are maintained as part of the digital library and a good number of full-text Online Journals can be accessed through E-Journal consortium. Wi-Fi enabled E-journals search facility is also provided to improve the R&D standard for faculty.
Gurudeva Institute of science and technology (GISAT) give a lot of emphasis to the training and placement requirements of the student community. There are many training programs that are schemed to groom the students according to meet the requirements of the industry. During the semesters specific time dedicated for co-curicular activities with a special focus to placement oriented training aimed at the overall development of the students. The placement activities are aligned to meet the current challenges and the emerging market scenarios. All the students are made to go through a series of aptitude training, analytical quantitative, logical and reasoning training and soft skill enhancement training programs during their course.
A fleet of buses are plying from far flung areas of Kottayam and nearby districts for the convenience of students. At present, the destinations include Thiruvalla, Changana cherry, Ponkunnam, Pallickathodu, Kottayam, Bund road, Kumarakom, Ettumanoor, Kidangoor, Ayarkunnam, Manimala, Pakkil, Kurichi, Mallappally and Karukachal. It is intended to supplement the fleet this year to cover more destinations.
The Food Court at GISAT campus provides with variety of delicious food items including Snacks, Juices, Soft Drinks etc.
In Campus Girls Hostel at the top of beautiful Vennimala Hill can accommodate more than 100 students and Boys are facilitated with Out Campus Hostel very close to GISAT campus.
GISAT providing top class training for interested students in Civil Service & Defense Service Entrance, with the in house training from GAMBIT Academy. The Civil Services Examination in India conducted by the UPSC for recruitment to various Civil Services of the Government of India, including IAS, Indian Foreign Service (IFS), IPS, Indian Revenue Service (IRS) etc.
